First of all...so sorry it has been so long since my last post! The past couple weekends were mostly relaxing and I was not up to anything, so not many pictures were taken ha. But this past weekend was filled with a lot of fun, excitement, and adventures. This past weekend I went up to Messiah College (which is where I graduated from) and went up for graduation to see my best friend Rach graduate! For most of the weekend I was taking pictures with her camera, since, it was her special day so I will be posting later about that part of the weekend, once I get some pictures from her. On another note,...after graduation on Saturday I headed down to Brandons!!! It had been a long two weeks so we had seen each other, so it was a very special weekend:) Saturday night we did dinner and a movie! Now our dinner and a movie consisted of subway and a netflix on the computer....do not let us fool you haha! On Sunday, we planned a very fun, well needed date day. I have always wanted to take the metro somewhere, so on Sunday we did! We took the metro into Georgetown...which by the way is the cutest little town! You would of thought I was a 5 year old on a Disney ride or something I was so excited!
Tickets Please
My Handsome Man:)
Once we got off the metro we had to get our walking feet on and make our way over a long bridge to get into Georgetown...ok it wasn't that long, but long enough to capture some pics!

If you do not know Georgetown is a well known city for its beautiful scenic town filled with shopping, food, and fun! If you did not know there is a special "cupcakery"
Georgetown Cupcake! Which if you didn't know is a gourmet cupcake shop that is owned by two sisters and they have their own show on TLC! So again, like a 5 year old in a candy shop, I was THRILLED!!:) Here are some pictures..
We decided to wait in line to get in...only 10 minutes and we were in!!!
Seriously, one of the cutest places I have been in. Although extremely busy/crowded...this place had everything under control! And to add a bonus in to the visit...one of the owners/sisters was in the shop, which they said is very rare!!! So I got to get a picture with her and an autograph:)
A quick blurb from the website about these two sisters:
"Georgetown Cupcake was founded by sisters Katherine Kallinis and Sophie LaMontagne. Katherine and Sophie traded careers in fashion and private equity to pursue something a little sweeter — their passion for artful cupcakes. Both lifelong bakers, inspired by their grandmothers, Katherine and Sophie opened Georgetown Cupcake in February 2008 as DC’s first and only cupcakery. Watch Katherine and Sophie in action in DC CUPCAKES, their new TV series on TLC!"
Next, we were off to some "window shopping" and lunch! We went to Johnny Rockets for lunch which is a fun diner well-known for their hamburgers and shakes. Well, I did not get a hamburger nor a shake ha but a grilled chicken sandwich, brandon on the other hand ordered one of the famous burgers and his favorite...Coke:)
This is how they gave you a cup for ketchup!
I was a very happy girl:)
What a wonderful weekend overall that I did not want to end:(...but very happy I got to spend time with the people and friends that mean the most to me! Stayed posted for more about this past weekend and an update on my garden soon!
