And so it begins...

Well here it is...my first blog entry! I am so very excited about this blog and hope to be able to share my thoughts and adventures with many people.  I have to thank one of my best friends Cait who encouraged me to start a blog, since she is a very talented blogger herself...check it out...A Bicycle Built for Two.  I decided on the name My Cup of Tea, because everyone likes their tea different, just the way we are all created..different in our own special way:) Since my life is pretty much a bore during the week...I hope to update everyone about my fun weekend adventures.  My boyfriend and I only get to see each other on the weekends, since we are 2 hours apart. So in that case, we try to make every weekend as fun and exciting as we can, whether its traveling, playing games, being active, or just spending quality time with family and friends.  Although, my work week can be busy and rather boring like I stated before (since I practically go to bed at 9:30pm every night..granny I know).. I hope to eventually start posting daily and not just on weekends…we will see where this blogging takes me:) Hope you enjoy!

 This past weekend my dear friend Joanna had her beautiful baby shower.  Seems just like yesterday we were making pancakes before school, having 6 am basketball practice at the YMCA, and eating pizza and breadsticks before after school practice ( I know disgusting right?), and now she is going to be a mother. Joanna and her husband Jason will be expecting their little girl in June!

Joanna does not like cake, so instead she insisted on having an ice cream sundae bar, which everyone was a fan of. Including Kylie, Joanna's precious 5 year old niece:)

 She is going to be great mother, as she is a daughter, sister, aunt, and great friend:)
